NTDR II RACE CATEGORIES AND OFFICIAL RESULTS

Here are the official race results in the different categories of the just concluded 2rd Leg of the NTDR II Trilogy Championship held last January 12, 2014 at Daranak Falls, Tanay, Rizal. Of  510 officially registered in the race exceeding the limited slots of 300, 482 made it to the finish.

TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED CONGRATULATIONS WE ARE PROUD OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENT HAVING GONE THROUGH DIFFICULT ROUTES THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TRILOGY EVENT WHICH COVERED 3 RACES AND 8 MONTHS PREPARATION. THOSE WHO COMPLETED THE TRILOGY YOU ARE ONE OF THE FEW BRAVE RUNNERS WHO HAVE COMMITTED YOURSELVES TO TRAIL RUNNING. FROM YOU BATCH COMES THE FIRST "HOMEGROWN" RUNNERS WHO WILL REPRESENT IN TRAIL RUNNING COMPETITION ABROAD THE "PIMCO-TANAY PH TRAIL RUNNING TEAM" COMPOSED OF THE TRILOGY CHAMPIONS.

Newbies (5k)

Newbies 5k is the category for many beginners in trail running or road runners shifting to trail running. This category is also good for recovery run for those coming from injury in previous races. Short distance with some technical routes.

 

 

Seasoned (21k)

Seasoned 21k are for trail runners who are already experienced runners. Not recommended for neophyte runners. Runners in this category already veterans of many races and has graduated from the shorter distances. Most runners in this category are regular runners of half marathon and would sometimes run in full marathon or in the stage of stepping up as full marathoner.

Advanced (10k)

Advanced 10k are for trail runners who have already graduated from the shorter distances either from road or trail run races. Some middle distance runners would shift between Advanced and mid-distances as part of step up preparations for longer distances the half and full marathons.

Masters (50k)

Masters 50k are elite trail runners who are veterens in all distances short, medium, full marathon, and Ultra Marathon races. They are either road and trail runners. Masters 50k are already of International calibre running athletes capable of competing in ultra marathon abroad with the bests of the bests.
