Rules and Regulations that shall be valid and shall be observed by members of PTRC.

 

A. MEMBERSHIP

 

1. Membership in PTRC is either by invitation or direct registration only by a runner who is committed to the promotion and development of Trail Running in the Philippines and his personal development as a trail runner.

 

2. Registration for membership by a runner is subject to acceptance of Pimco Sporting Events Co. (Pimco). Pimco may reject the registration of a member registering for membership. When registration is accepted via online registration, the registrant member shall receive a Statement of Account (SOA) via email for payment of the annual Registration Fee and the first monthly fee for exclusive access to and use of certain Trail Runners Clubhouse (Clubhouse) facilities.

 

3. Registration for membership by a runner maybe done via Online Registration at this official web site www.pimcosportingevents.net;  at on site registration at the Clubhouse; or in any official registration partners by Pimco.

 

4. Once accepted and payment is made, members may proceed to the Clubhouse to receive in person the Membership Kit which include a Singlet, a Membership Card, and a welcome letter updating the new member of the Clubhouse available facilities and their use. The Clubhouse is expected to open on the 1st Week of May 2014 either partial opening or full opening.

 

5. Members shall strictly observe this Rules and Regulations and that a member maybe removed by the management of Pimco Sporting Events Co. (Pimco) from membership due to repeated violations of this Rules and Regulations.

 

6. Members must always bring their membership card included in the Membership Kit and present the same to the Clubhouse reception to use any of the facilities so desired. In case of a lost card the reception will rely on the membership book. A lost card maybe replaced by request.

 

7. Membership shall be limited to only 300 members maximum per year. The membership is open to all nationalities. Once the membership is filled up, no other members will be accepted and acceptance shall be subject to opening of slot in case a member does not renew membership, leave or removed from the members official listing.

 

B. TRAIL RUNNERS CLUBHOUSE (The Clubhouse)

 

1. The Clubhouse is built, owned and operated by Pimco for members use, comfort, and convenience during training and practice runs in the mountain trails around it. There are house rules that members must conform and observe. This house rules will be available upon opening of the Clubhouse

 

2. The main dining area at the entrance of the Clubhouse is non-exclusive to members. Guests and walk-in customers for the in-house restaurant serviced by Ponkee's Yummies will be welcomed.

 

3. The Clubhouse has two toilets and 3 shower rooms exclusive for use by members only. Non-members are not allowed to use this except guests accompanied by a member. After practice runs, members may take shower on first come-first serve basis.

 

4. The Clubhouse has changing rooms. Runners may change clothing before the run and after the run or after taking a bath. Use of changing rooms is on first-come, first-serve basis.

 

5. Lockers for members will be available and will be built for the first 50 members and lockers will be built as more members are accepted.

 

6. Members must observed the privacy of other members and that no unruly behavior is allowed and may caused removal of the member from the official list of membership.

 

5. The Reception is at the right side of the Clubhouse after the main dining area. Here members who wish to use the facilities may register and logged. A front desk staff will be on hand to assist the member. Member must bring their membership card and present to the reception to register and logged.

 

C. ADVISORY BOARD

 

1. Members shall elect the Advisory Board member (AB) of the Trail Running Club (TRC). The AB shall help Pimco in the policy making that will guide and help Pimco managing TRC. In the event that members fail to elect members in the AB, Pimco may appoint them.

 

2. ABM is a consultative body to be created to represent members in the policy making process of the TRC in cases where there is a need to add, change, or amend rules affecting the membership. ABM may in behalf of the members submit proposals to the conduct of the practice runs and management of the Clubhouse for approval of Pimco Sporting Events.

 

3. The AB shall be composed of 7 members, 5 shall be elected and 2 to be appointed by Pimco. Election, meetings, and all the activities of the AB shall be decided by the AB. No member in the AB shall be elected that is not a member of the TRC or with expired membership.

 

D. USE OF FACILITIES, SERVICES, AND CONDUCT OF PRACTICE RUNS

 

1. Members shall have exclusive access to the facilities of the clubhouse. Exclusive access however does not mean free use of the facilities and services. Members shall pay minimal fees for the facilities and services as will be determined by the Clubhouse from time to time this is to ensure cleanliness of the facilities.

 

2. Members may run on their own or get the services of runners guide (subject to availability). When using the services of runners guide, members shall pay the fee P150.00/guide to the Clubhouse. Giving tips to the runners guide is up to members. Tips should be given directly to runners guide.

 

3. Members doing practice runs should register and logged-in to the Clubhouse for the recording of the time of start from the Clubhouse to the trails and back, the distance and the elevation. Such record shall be validated by the Clubhouse and kept for certification, ranking, and rating of members.

 

4. Members shall only run at the established trail routes of the Clubhouse which is inspected regularly and cleaned. At the established trail routes, the U-turn spot shall be visible to runners. To validate the distance and elevation covered for the specific practice run given the date and time, the runner should either make a selfie shot or ask his running buddies or runners guide to take a photo of him or her at the U-Turn Spot and show this at the Clubhouse reception staff.

 

4. Members undestand the risk of trail running and run on their own risk. It is advised that runners should run with the guide and should not stray away from the established trail routes. A member doing practice run should report back to the Clubhouse after the run for the record. When a runner fails to report back at a given time sufficient enough to cover a given distance, the Clubhouse shall send a sweeper to check on the trail routes. Determining the urgency of the matter, the Clubhouse may organize search and rescue and coordinate with the authorities. The cost of such shall be charged to the member especially if the member deliberately left the trails and go home or somewhere else without reporting back to the Clubhouse.

 

5. Massage and spa services are available to members either by appointment or subject to availability of massage attendants and the Cabana. Massage services range from P200.00 depending on the type.

 

6. Showers and use of the changing room are free to members on first come, first serve basis.

 

7. Lockers shall be available to members with valuable things to keep. Baggage counter shall be at the reception. The member shall bring their own locks for the lockers.

 

8. The Clubhouse has no resident medical or emergency staff or personnel for emergency situation. It simply provide facilities and services as stated. In case of emergency, the Clubhouse may contact coordinate with the LGU unit and the Military for assistance. It is therefore advised that members doing practice runs should be with running buddies for help and assistance in case of emergency. Members therefore are advised to ensure regular check-up and get the approval personal physician before engaging in practice runs.

 

9. Members may pitch tent either at the back garden of the Clubhouse or at the established forest camps for overnight stay. The members camping out shall be charged with minimal camping fee. Members Lounge is open to members on 24 hours but it should not be used to sleep on.

 

10. Food service is available to members provided by Ponkee's Yummies, the official food service provider in the main dining area, in Members Lounge, and the back garden.

 

11. Trail Runners Store shall be available at the Clubhouse where trail running gears, food, drinks, etc. shall be available.

 

 

E. PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERS

 

1. Regular 15% Discount on all race events, training camps organized of Pimco Sporting Events.

2. Regular 15% Discount on food bills in the restaurant and services in the Cloubhouse.

4. Regular 10% Discount on Pasalubong and gift items available at the Clubhouse.

5. Members may apply for Certification as Trail Running Coach. Trail Running coaches shall be the only ones allowed to organize training camps by Pimco Sporting Events.

6. Only members maybe allowed to join the Pimco-Tanay PH Trail Running Team in competition abroad to avail of possible group discount on plane and accommodation that the team maybe able to get from sponsors and partners.

7. The membership card is also Privilege Card maybe used as discount card to shops and stores which have partnership agreement with Pimco.

 

F. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

 

1. Members shall religiously pay the minimal monthly dues of One Hundred Fifty Pesos (P150.00) whether they will use the Clubhouse or not. This monthly dues will ensure maintenance of the Clubhouse.

2. Guests or non-members may be given provisional access to the facilities and services of the Clubhouse provided they are sponsored by any of the members. However guests shall are not covered by the discounts given to the members for the use of the facilities and services. Guests shall pay the full amount of charges billed for their use.

3. Members shall observe proper decorum and etiquette when in the premises of the Clubhouse in respect of the privacy of the other members. Shouting and arguments are not allowed in the premises of the Clubhouse. Rowdy members shall be barred from the Clubhouse and may lead to suspension or permanent removal from membership.

4. Pimco may add to the rules and regulations at anytime without the need to inform members before the new rules are added to the provisions stated herein.
